An unidentified male victim was discovered fatally wounded in an alley overnight in the South Chicago neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 1:30 a.m., the victim was found at the mouth of an alley in the 2500 block of East 80th Street. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
