A 56-year-old woman was listed in critical condition after being struck by a white SUV Thursday evening while attempting to cross Archer Avenue in the Brighton Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 7:30 p.m., the victim was trying to cross the street in the 4000 block of South Archer Avenue when she was hit by a SUV making a right turn unto Archer, police said.
The woman suffered trauma to her body, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
The driver stayed on the scene, and citations were pending.
