Crown Point has 10 players on the first and second teams, and Merrillville has five.

FIRST-TEAM OFFENSE

Oliver Brewer, Crown Point, sophomore, kicker: Made 3 of 4 field goals, with a long of 42 yards, and 58 of 59 extra points. Also averaged 41.3 yards on six punts. Class 6A junior all-state as punter and conference most valuable kicker.

Thomas Burda, Valparaiso, senior, running back: Ran for 1,380 yards and 13 TDs. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference.

Nolan Cicero, Crown Point, junior, offensive lineman: Class 6A junior all-state.

Bryce Compton, Wheeler, senior, wide receiver: Made 47 catches for 935 yards and seven TDs. Also had 45 tackles and three interceptions, one returned for a TD, at defensive back. All-conference.

Noah Ehrlich, Crown Point, senior, quarterback: Passed for 2,415 yards and program-record 29 TDs with three interceptions. Gatorade Indiana player of the year, Class 6A senior all-state and conference offensive MVP. Miami of Ohio recruit.

Larry Ellison, Crown Point, senior, running back: Ran for 1,586 yards and 26 TDs. Added 29 catches for 444 yards and six TDs. Class 6A senior all-state and all-conference.

Lebron Hill, Morton, senior, wide receiver: Had 675 receiving yards and six TDs. IFCA Top 50 and all-conference. Vanderbilt recruit.

Cameron Miller, Morton, junior, offensive lineman: Class 5A junior all-state and all-conference.

Ben Novak, Andrean, junior, offensive lineman: IFCA Top 50 and all-conference. Wisconsin recruit.

Cayleb Sharp, Valparaiso, senior, offensive lineman: Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference.

Jaden Swanson, Merrillville, senior, offensive lineman: Class 5A senior all-state.

Caiden Verrett, Hanover Central, senior, running back: Ran for 1,506 yards and 27 TDs. Added 13 catches for 204 yards and five TDs. Class 4A senior all-state and conference offensive player of the year.

FIRST-TEAM DEFENSE

Dylan Bowen, Hanover Central, junior, defensive back: Made 117 tackles and five interceptions. Class 4A junior all-state and all-conference. Oklahoma State baseball recruit.

Freddy Brown, Morton, senior, linebacker: Made 87 tackles with five for loss and four sacks. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference. Western Michigan recruit.

Adam Camphor, Merrillville, senior, defensive lineman: Made 57 tackles with 12 for loss. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference. Southeast Missouri State recruit.

Owen Edlen, Chesterton, senior, defensive lineman: Made 69 tackles with eight for loss and four sacks. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference.

Jimmy Finley, Andrean, senior, defensive back: Made 89 tackles, with five for loss, and five interceptions, one returned for a TD. Also had 58 catches for 840 yards and nine TDs at wide receiver. Class 2A senior all-state and conference defensive player of the year. Northern Illinois recruit.

Trevor Gibbs, Crown Point, junior, linebacker: Had 51 tackles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Also had 40 catches for 654 yards and nine TDs at tight end. IFCA Top 50 and conference defensive MVP.

Adrian Holley, Michigan City, senior, defensive lineman: Made 84 tackles with 30 for loss and 12.5 sacks. IFCA Top 50 and all-conference. Kansas recruit.

Zander Lankford, Hobart, senior, punter: Averaged 41.8 yards. Class 4A senior all-state and all-conference.

Trenton Nixon, Merrillville, senior, defensive lineman: Made 48 tackles with eight for loss and eight sacks. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference. Northern Illinois recruit.

John Peters, Merrillville, senior, defensive back: Made 38 tackles and four interceptions, one returned for a TD. Added 19 catches for 425 yards and eight TDs at wide receiver. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference. Western Michigan recruit.

Ethan Reyna, Andrean, sophomore, linebacker: Made 117 tackles with nine for loss and four sacks. Also ran for 502 yards and three TDs. Class 2A junior all-state and all-conference.

Lucas Szymborski, Crown Point, senior, linebacker: Made 67 tackles with five for loss. Also had 19 catches for 265 yards and six TDs at tight end/wide receiver. Class 6A senior all-state and all-conference. Ball State recruit.

Rocco Bartolomeo, Hanover Central, senior, wide receiver: Made 38 catches for 708 yards and 10 TDs. All-conference.

Marco Castro, Kankakee Valley, senior, running back: Ran for 1,896 yards and 19 TDs. Added 39 tackles at linebacker. Class 4A senior all-state at linebacker and all-conference.

PJ Cusick, Andrean, senior, kicker: Made seven field goals, including a long of 38 yards, and 28 of 30 extra points. All-conference.

Samir Del Rio, Boone Grove, senior, wide receiver: Made 65 catches for 961 yards and 12 TDs. Added 47 tackles and two interceptions at defensive back. Class 2A senior all-state at defensive back and all-conference.

Jimmy Johnsen, Lake Central, senior, offensive lineman: Has Division I offers.

Jac’Quarious “JQ” Johnson, Merrillville, junior, running back: Ran for 1,161 yards and 17 TDs. All-conference.

Luke Juris, Hobart, senior, offensive lineman: Class 4A senior all-state and all-conference.

Caleb Klimczak, Wheeler, senior, quarterback: Passed for 2,044 yards and 16 TDs. All-conference.

Carlos Leon, Chesterton, junior, offensive lineman: Class 5A junior all-state and all-conference.

Jayden Ortiz, Wheeler, senior, running back: Ran for 1,428 yards and 21 TDs. All-conference.

Jacob Soley, Crown Point, senior, tight end: Made 31 catches for 532 yards and six TDs. All-conference. Indiana State recruit.

Julian Stokes, Valparaiso, senior, wide receiver: Made 40 catches for 589 yards and eight TDs. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference.

Khaled Alzeer, Boone Grove, senior, linebacker: Made 137 tackles with 23 for loss and eight sacks. Class 2A senior all-state and all-conference.

Giovani Bailey-Hannah, Hammond Central, senior, linebacker: Made 46 tackles with five for loss and 12 sacks. All-conference.

Michael Crawford, Michigan City, senior, defensive back: Made 100 tackles with 10 for loss. Class 5A senior all-state and all-conference.

Cole Emanuelson, Crown Point, senior, defensive lineman: Made 32 tackles. All-conference.

Gavin Knight, Bishop Noll, senior, defensive back: Made 80 tackles and five interceptions. All-conference.

Josh Miller, Crown Point, senior, defensive lineman: Made 48 tackles with 11 for loss and eight sacks. All-conference.

TJ Ohlenkamp, Lake Central, junior, punter: Conference most valuable punter.

Niko Pavlou, Crown Point, senior, linebacker: Made 56 tackles with seven for loss and two sacks. All-conference.

Brody Ramirez, Lake Central, sophomore, linebacker: Made 115 tackles with seven for loss and three sacks. Class 6A junior all-state.

Ayden Silver, River Forest, senior, defensive back: Made 82 tackles and two interceptions, one returned for a TD. Also passed for 1,399 yards and 14 TDs and ran for 962 yards and 13 TDs at quarterback. All-conference.

Colton Strezo, Griffith, senior, defensive back: Had 48 tackles, four interceptions, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and four defensive TDs. All-conference.

Michael Turner, River Forest, junior, linebacker: Had 137 tackles, with 14 for loss, as well as four fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and two interceptions, one returned for a TD. All-conference.
