An Elgin man who allegedly made threats against Illinois Park School and one of its employees has been arrested on felony charges, Kane County court records show.
Tavy Sanasing, 49, was charged with two counts of threatening a school building or person in connection with an incident that happened Dec. 18 at the 1350 Wing St. school in Elgin.
No additional information has been released by School District U-46 or the Elgin Police Department in regards to what occurred or what kind of threats were made.
Following his initial court appearance, Sanasing was released with the conditions that he not possess any firearm or dangerous weapon, surrender any firearms, FOID card and concealed carry license to the Elgin police and refrain from using or possessing alcohol.
He has been ordered to stay away from the school and to have no contact or communication with the person he allegedly threatened.
Sanasing’s next court date is scheduled for Jan. 31 at the Kane County Judicial Center in St. Charles.
