Gary man gets 35 years for child molesting
A Gary man was sentenced to 35 years Wednesday for sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl.
Bobbie Lamb, 57, of the 4000 block of Grant Street, signed a plea deal filed Sept. 24 for level 1 felony child molesting. He faced 20 to 40 years.
Court records show it happened at a Gary home between August 2022 and June 2023.
Chicago man gets 9 years for dealing fentanyl-laced heroin
A Chicago man was sentenced to nine years in federal prison Wednesday for dealing fentanyl-laced heroin.
Clinton Williams, 48, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute heroin and fentanyl, U.S. Attorney Clifford Johnson said in a release.
Williams will also do four years of supervised release. Federal authorities allege Williams was “personally” involved with five drug deals from August 2021 to June 2022.
