DOMESTIC: Cameron A. Robinson, 25, Alsip, was arrested Jan. 25 and subsequently accused of aggravated domestic battery/strangulation on Jan. 3, police said.
Burbank
AGGRAVATED ROBBERY: James D. Dangelo Jr., 38, Stickney, was arrested Jan. 24 and subsequently charged with aggravated robbery in connection with a Jan. 23 Facebook Marketplace transaction at 85th Street and Lawler Avenue, police said. Dangelo implied he had a deadly weapon in his pocket while threatening the seller, who was attempting to end the sale and reclaim his merchandise, police said.
Lansing
RECKLESS SHOOTING: Patrick J. Strong, 57, 18300 block of Wentworth Avenue, Lansing, is scheduled to return to Cook County court at Markham Feb. 26, charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, according to a court spokesperson. Strong was arrested in Hammond, Indiana, after firing a shot from his back porch Jan. 2 and, police said.
New Lenox
DUI CRASH: Gabriel Ramirez, 32, 100 block of Riverview Avenue, Lockport, was arrested Jan. 20 and accused of drunken driving after striking another vehicle at Cedar Road and Lenox Street, leaving the road, hitting a fire hydrant and stop sign and then losing a bumper before being apprehended near Hickory Creek and Buckboard drives, police said.
BURGLARY CHARGED: New Lenox and Peotone detectives took Leonard R. Hunter, 27, Chicago, into custody Jan. 27 in the 18200 block of Ravisloe Terrace, Country Club Hills. Hunter is charged with burglary in connection with the Jan. 4 theft of a lottery display from a Peotone business and with burglary and robbery in connection with a Jan. 10 theft of liquor, cigarettes and lottery tickets from a New Lenox business, police said.
Oak Lawn
ROGUE TOWING: Jonathan M. Barczak, 38, Chicago, was charged with illegally soliciting towing clients Jan. 10 after approaching a motorist at a personal injury crash site in the 9100 block of Central Avenue, police said.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Nerijus Mesauskas, 31, 8900 block of 55th Court, Oak Lawn, was arrested Jan. 19 in that block and accused of aggravated assault after threatening people with a wooden bat wrapped in barbed wire, police said.
Orland Park
GUN POSSESSION: Malek A. Ahmad, 27, 9000 block of Patricia Lane, Orland Park, is scheduled to appear in Cook County court Feb, 7, charged with unlawful use of a weapon, assault and disorderly conduct, police said. Officers recovered a 9 mm pistol from Ahmad and determined the state revoked his gun permit during a Dec. 19 investigation about an irate customer at an impound lot in the 13700 block of Southwest Highway, police said.
DUI CRASH: Andrew J. Hoefler, 19, 7400 block of Choctaw Road, Palos Heights, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, improper lane use and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision Dec. 27 after hitting a speed-limit sign and a road construction sign in the 9300 block of 131st Street, police said.
GUN POSSESSION: Ahmad J. Warnell, 32, 15600 block of University Avenue, Dolton, was charged Jan. 4 with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after officers recovered a loaded 9 mm pistol attached to a loaded extended magazine along with a second loaded magazine outside an arcade-restaurant on Orland Square Drive, police said.
Palos Heights
BURGLARY CHARGED: Detron L. Williams, 49, Flossmoor, turned himself in to officers Jan. 27 in connection with a Jan. 8 theft in which he entered a locked storage area at Shell, 12121 Ridgeland Ave., and took 17 cartons of cigarettes collectively selling for $2,600, police said.
Park Forest
MACHINE PISTOL: Darius M. Martin, 24, Chicago, was arrested after the department’s K9 team recovered a .40 caliber Glock 23 handgun with a loaded drum magazine equipped with a switch to make it operate as a fully automatic weapon Jan. 25 at Sauk Trail and Orchard Drive, police said.
DUO CHARGED: Two Steger men accused of breaking into two dozen cars in the 100 block of Sycamore Drive are scheduled to appear in Will County court Feb. 19, charged with three counts of burglary and 11 counts of criminal damage to property, according to court records online. Officers searching for five individuals Jan. 25 located Israel J. Medina, 19, 3400 block of Sally Drive, and Raymond F. Regalado, 19, first block of McKinley Avenue, with the help of a drone tracking the duo’s movements, police said.
Steger
DOMESTIC: Devante O. Bond, 24. Chicago, was arrested Jan. 12 and accused of aggravated domestic battery/strangulation in the 400 block of West Steger Road, police said.
CHILD ENDANGERMENT: Antonia A. Carrell, 40, 3700 block of Sangamon Street, Steger, was accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and endangering a child Jan. 16 after brandishing a knife at a teen in that block, police said.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: James E. Burks Jr., 32, 1700 block of East End Avenue, Chicago Heights, was accused of aggravated assault after threatening officers while being arrested for trespassing Jan. 18 in the 3500 block of Chicago Road and while being arrested for trespassing Jan. 24 in the 500 block of West Steger Road, police said.
