Riverdale man, Indiana woman killed in Markham Sunday, medical examiner reports

A Riverdale man and a woman from Indiana were fatally shot Sunday afternoon in Markham, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Jamari Stigler, 23, of Riverdale, and Diamond Taylor Harvey, 27, of Crown Point, were pronounced dead at 12:32 p.m. and 12:33 p.m., the medial examiner’s office said.

The medical examiner’s office said Monday the two victims died of multiple gunshot wounds and classified the deaths as homicides.

The shootings took place on the 3300 block of West 167th Street, in a single-family home across from a Heniff Transportation trucking lot, according to the medical examiner and Google Maps.

Markham police and the mayor’s office have not responded to messages about the pair of homicides.
