This summer’s editions of the Out of Space music festival in Skokie and ARC in Union Park announced their lineups for 2025 on Tuesday. Both are in their fifth years.
Out of Space, put on by SPACE of Evanston and the venue owner 16” on Center, is planned for July 24-27 at Illinois Science & Technology Park, 4900 Searle Parkway, Skokie. Music acts:
July 24: Sylvan Esso, Bully and Case Oats
July 25: Shakey Graves, Joy Oladokun and Shovels & Rope
July 26: Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Anderson East, Daniel Villarreal
July 27: The Decemberists, Kevin Morby, Craig Finn

Then ARC Music Festival of house and techno music returns to Chicago’s Union Park, 1501 W. Randolph St., this Labor Day weekend Aug. 29-31.
