Two people were found dead inside an Englewood home Friday afternoon, according to authorities.
The bodies were found at a home at 6137 S. Justine St., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The office did not release identities and genders or reveal how the two people are believed to have died, but said both were pronounced dead at 4:19 p.m. Autopsies for both people were scheduled for Saturday.
Chicago police have not released any details about what occurred, but police officers spent several hours at the home. Police lined up on the front porch of a gray stone-clad workers cottage on the east side of South Justine Street, where the home’s blinds were drawn. The officers spoke to a man in the doorway before going inside.
