Police and the Lake County Coroner are investigating the death of a woman found this weekend at a Waukegan home, authorities said.
The coroner’s office identified her Wednesday as Amia Moore, 28, of Beach Park.
Waukegan police responded to a residence just before 7 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue and found Moore, who was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was performed Monday but the coroner’s office said results were pending additional study.
The death remains under investigation by the Waukegan police.
