A 22-year-old woman was listed in critical condition after she was shot multiple times while sitting in a vehicle early Saturday morning in the North Lawndale neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 4:20 a.m., the victim was sitting in a vehicle in the 1400 block of South Kenneth Avenue when someone approached and opened fire before fleeing the scene, police said.
The victim suffered multiple wounds to the head and drove herself to Mount Sinai Hospital where she was listed in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
