Heatherton was a grand home located in a large estate on the south side of Chicago Avenue, a little east of Washington Street, in Naperville. It was built by attorney John S. Goodwin and his wife, Mary Forbes Goodwin, in 1903. The home was destroyed by a fire in March 1920.
