A man was fatally shot following an argument in the Grand Crossing neighborhood Sunday night, according to Chicago police.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Normal Avenue. The victim, a 40-year-old man, was outside when he got into an argument with a person he knew, police said. The argument turned physical and the 40-year-old was shot, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, police said, where he was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody as of Monday morning, according to police.
