Rachel Veronie is doing it all for the Blue Devils down the stretch, coming through defensively, in the batter’s box and on the base paths.

Grace King, who missed last season with a knee injury, is hitting .667 with a home run and eight RBIs for the Corsairs in the past week.

Addison Osborne earns three saves while holding opponents to a .114 average over 13 2/3 innings in four appearances for the Northern Lake County Conference champion.

Freshman Juliana Figurelli is playing well in the outfield and hitting .369 for the Wildcats.

7. Grayslake North 13-9 (8)

Jane Pritchard, who has gone behind the plate to catch after a teammate’s injury, is hitting .500 with three RBIs for the Knights over the past week.

A tough stretch of games leads to losses against Carmel, Antioch, Mundelein, Johnsburg and Wauconda.

Izzy Vodicka is batting .833 with two doubles, three triples and four RBIs in the Bears’ past three games.

Annie Wolff, also a basketball standout, is pitching well for the Rams down the stretch.

Warren senior catcher Katie Monroe is batting .643 with a 1.524 OPS and four RBIs in the past week and has also thrown out two runners trying to steal.
