Watch live: Pope Leo XIV’s inaugural Mass

A Mass will be held Sunday morning marking the start of Pope Leo XIV’s pontificate.

The inaugural Mass will be held in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. local time.

For Chicagoans, set your alarms. With the time difference, the event will be available to watch via livestream at 3 a.m. Central time.

St. Peter’s Square is expected to be filled by thousands, including Vice President JD Vance, who is leading the U.S. delegation, second lady Usha Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and his wife, Jeanette Rubio.
