A teenager was killed in a drive-by shooting Sunday morning in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
The shooting took place in the 7600 block of South Prairie Avenue around 4:03 a.m. Police said that the teenager, 17, was standing near the sidewalk when he was approached by a dark-colored car.
At least one person inside the car shot at the teenager before fleeing westbound on 76th Street. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.
There is no one in custody.
