Questions posed by a group of local Republicans about the integrity of the 2020 election in Kane County were resolved Thursday in much the same way as similar questions across the country. A bipartisan team at the county clerk’s office said the questions were based on a flawed understanding of the election process, state election laws and using data that didn’t account for the county absorbing a large portion of Aurora voters after the dissolving of the Aurora Election Commission.
