Benedictine University President Charles Gregory still remembers the feeling of “awe” from his first encounter with Powell. And Bartlett resident and Korean War Army veteran Chuck Fruehe will never forget the few minutes he spent talking to Powell during a visit to the World War II memorial in Washington.
