Jack Mabley moved into Glenview at age 27 in 1943 and stayed there until his death at age 90 in 2006. The community’s laid-back charm was reflected in so much of what he wrote. Here’s a one from Feb. 13, 1998, four months before Michael Jordan left the Chicago Bulls.
