CHICAGO (AP) – Grain futures were higher on Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. was up 5 cents at $8.4825 a bushel; Dec. corn was up 5.25 cents at $5.8250 a bushel; Dec. oats gained 18.50 cents at $7.5950 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans rose 7.25 cents at $12.7650 a bushel. Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dec. live cattle rose 1.65 cents at $1.3630 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle gained 1.75 cents at $1.6457 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was up .53 cent at $.7495 a pound.
