CHICAGO (AP) – Grain futures were lower on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. rose 12.25 cents at $7.93 a bushel; Dec. corn was up 10.25 cents at $5.7975 a bushel; Dec. oats fell 10 cents at $6.98 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans gained 17.25 cents at $12.3450 a bushel. Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dec. live cattle lost .48 cent at $1.3642 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was off .20 cent at $1.6522 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell .37 cent at $.7300 a pound.
