Reyna Cristina Ical Seb had arrived in Chicago in October and had promised her parents she would send enough money to fix their small home in a rural Indigenous town in Guatemala. But on Wednesday, Feb. 22, her birthday, she was found dead in a dark alley in the Little Village neighborhood.
