DuPage County leaders on Tuesday unveiled a document signed in 1846 by President James Polk, granting ownership of land near modern-day Warrenville. “The dreams this paper held, as it was delivered to the George Cary family,” marveled DuPage County History Museum Director Michelle Podkowa.
