Animals on loan from local farms have moved into Tefft Farm at Lords Park Zoo in Elgin as the zoo prepares to open for the season Saturday. The free zoo is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 4 p.m. on weekends and features programs throughout the summer.
