A protest against war in the Middle East will be held Saturday at the Porter County Courthouse in downtown Valparaiso.
“Hopefully, a bunch of people will be there to spread the message,” organizer Michelle Queer said. She expects about 30 people to attend the event, to be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The war between Israel and Hamas needs to end, she said. “I just wish the war would stop in general.”
“It’s not the civilians’ fault what’s happening,” Queer said.
An information table will be offered at the event, with passersby being encouraged to sign an anti-war petition.
