At least five officers suffered non-life threatening injuries Thursday night in a crash where a marked squad car crashed into an unmarked squad car in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 7:15 p.m., a squad car traveling east on 63rd Street struck an unmarked squad car traveling south on Racine Avenue causing the marked squad car to hit a Cadillac headed north on Racine, police said.
The driver of the Cadillac refused medical help at the scene, but five officers were taken to local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
