Authorities, upon investigating, learned that a similar incident allegedly occurred in 2016 with a boy, 16, the release stated.
On Monday, DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Aurora Police Chief Keith Cross announced that DuPage County Judge Demetrios Panoushis granted the state’s motion to deny Hameed’s release pre-trial, the news release said. His next court date is set for June 2.
