Deputy Chief Keith Cross has been chosen to replace retiring Kristen Ziman as Aurora’s top cop, pending council approval. Cmdr. Matthew Thomas would become deputy chief, and retired detective Guillermo Trujillo would serve as the new deputy mayor.
