Both offers are now available in 18 states (AZ, CO, IL, IN, IA, LA, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY). You won’t be able to claim both in other states and you’ll only be eligible if you haven’t signed up with BetMGM before.
BetMGM in North Carolina
Straightforward approach here, you can get $150 in bonus bets when you place a cash deposit of $10 and make an initial cash wager of at least $5, regardless of how your wager settles.
Notably, this offer is only for players in North Carolina who are 21 or older. You won’t qualify if you’ve signed up for with BetMGM in any other states.
When you make your $10 cash deposit, you’ll be ready to wager. The minimum wager requirement is $5 to earn $150 in bonus bets. You’ll get the bonus bets shortly after bet settlement and will get six bonus bets each equal to $25 a piece.

BetMGM elsewhere
Both of the promotions below require a cash deposit of at least $10 to register your account. You won’t be able to claim either of these promotions if you’ve signed up in North Carolina, or other states.
The deposit match promotion is not available in Washington D.C., Kentucky, New York, or Nevada. The bet insurance promotion is not available in New York and Nevada.
TRIB1600: 20 Percent Deposit Match w/ $1.6K cap
This is one of the most nuanced offers on the market. It’s a fractional deposit match so you’ll get 20 percent of whatever you put down in cash. There’s a $1,600 cap so you’d need to put down $8,000 in cash to max out.
Additionally, there’s a 10x wager requirement over your first 30 days so you’ll need to bet 10 times the amount of sports bonuses you receive. Say you deposited $4,400 in cash, you’d get $880 in sports bonuses. From that point, you’d have 30 days to wager $8,800 in total.
For this promotion, you’ll get your bonus bets in five increments and they will remain valid for seven days from the point of distribution.

TRIBUNENEWS: $1.5K Bet Insurance
This promotional structure will be familliar to most readers. Whether it’s called the no sweat bet or bet insurance the premise is the same, you’ll get your cash stake back as bonus bets if your initial cash wager loses.
To max out here, you’d need to put down $1,500 in cash. You’re not required to max out, as you’ll still get your stake back as bonus bets if you just wager $40 in cash.

Alabama Crimson Tide (+160) vs. UNC Tar Heels (-190)
The Crimson Tide take on the Tar Heels in an exciting West Sweet 16 matchup. Both of these teams have been impressive offensively, with the lights out shooting from Hubert Davis’ Tar Heels and a breakneck pace from the Nate Oats’ Crimson Tide.
Notably though, UNC has been very good at defending in transition this year which puts a potential damper on Alabama’s offense. While the Tide have shown they can be successful in part when they have to set up in the halfcourt, they’re most effective when running the floor.
UNC will be looking to slow them down with the transition defense and solid shooting on the offensive end (one of the Tar Heels’ strongest suits with six players shooting above 40 percent from deep in the regular season).
Despite netting from deep, the Tar Heels haven’t defended beyond the arc especially well which is a solid attack point for Alabama.
With that in mind, look at the over here. The expected 173.5 total is high for college basketball, but given the speed and efficiency of both of these offenses, the over is a better choice.
