Molly Friesen hits four 3-pointers in the Bears’ win against Palatine and is averaging 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds.

4. Grayslake Central 22-6 (4)

Addi Thomas is playing quality minutes late in her freshman season, averaging 6.5 points in the Northern Lake County Conference leader’s four wins last week.

5. Wauconda 18-5 (6)

Sarah Palmer helps pick up the slack in Grace Parker‘s absence, recording 14 points, eight rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks in the Bulldogs’ NLCC win against Antioch.

Nari Powers gets 13 points, 12 rebounds and two steals in the Blue Devils’ loss to Rolling Meadows.

Grace Dunigan, another freshman, is playing key minutes after her varsity promotion, attacking the rim and shooting with confidence.

Ashley Schlabowske is getting close to 1,000 career points for the Corsairs.

Kourtnie Halperin continues to make an impact in her freshman season, totaling 30 points in the Giants’ past two games.

Addison Webb, playing steady at both ends, averages 5.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals in the Sequoits’ past three games.

Player of the Week

Senior guard/forward Ella Franck averages 19.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.0 assists in Wauconda’s three Northern Lake County Conference wins.
