Emma Andrews and Kate Davies hit home runs and the Rams’ defense plays well in their stunning 5-3 victory against Antioch, ranked No. 9 in the country.

Aubrey Jepson is doing a solid job in the circle and is hitting .704 with a home run.

8. Vernon Hills 4-5-1 (NR)

Freshman third baseman/catcher Annie Zbylut is playing well in the field and is hitting .429 over her past five games.

9. Lake Zurich 2-3 (NR)

Freshman pitcher Alaina Krzeminski is providing valuable innings in relief to help solidify the Bears’ staff.

10. Zion-Benton 3-1 (10)

The Zee-Bees’ win against Lake Forest gives them momentum going into their game at rival Waukegan.
