A burglar used a brick to smash a window of a restaurant before taking property overnight in the Lakeview neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after midnight Tuesday, a vehicle pulled up to a restaurant in the 3500 block of North Clark Street and someone exited and threw a brick through a window. The burglar entered the business and took property before returning to a vehicle and fleeing the scene, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
