Burglars make off with ATM overnight at Englewood convenience store, police said

Chicago police responded to a burglar alarm overnight at a store in the Englewood neighborhood and found the front door pried open, and an ATM missing.

About 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, officers arrived at a convenience store in the 6600 block of South Halsted Street and discovered the front door pried open. Further investigation revealed an ATM was taken from inside, police said.

Police said a black SUV may have been used during the burglary.

No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
