Burglars steal ATM, cash register overnight at fast food restaurant in Humboldt Park

Chicago police said two burglars smashed the front glass door of a fast food business and made off with an ATM and cash register overnight in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Shortly before 2 a.m., two burglars broke the front glass doors of a restaurant in the 2800 block of West Chicago Avenue and made entry before taking an ATM and a cash register. The burglars fled the scene with both in a white sedan, police said.

No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
