Burglars take ATM overnight at Archer Heights business

Chicago police officers responding to a call of a burglary overnight in the Archer Heights neighborhood and saw several burglars take an ATM before fleeing in a white SUV.

Shortly after 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, officers saw five burglars exit a white truck and break the front glass door of a business in the 4500 block of South Archer Avenue. Once gaining entry the burglars took an ATM machine and fled in a white SUV, police said.

No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
