C5 Insight Managing Partner Geoff Ables Presenting at SharePoint Saturday Event in St. Louis

C5 Insight Managing Partner Geoff Ables will be presenting two sessions at SharePoint Saturday in St. Louis. The event will be held at the Microsoft Technology Center in St. Louis, Missouri on February 1, 2020. SharePoint Saturdays are organized for Office 365 and SharePoint administrators, end users, architects, developers and other professionals that work with Microsoft Technologies. For more information and registration details, visit https://www.spsevents.org/event/stlouis2020/.

Ables will be delivering the session, “5 Ways to Manage Projects with Office 365 and Dynamics 365.” Since Microsoft offers a variety of task and project management applications, understanding the offerings and selecting the right one(s) can be a challenge. Attendees will learn about Microsoft Project, SharePoint Task Lists, Microsoft Planner, To-Do, Outlook Tasks, Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation, Dynamics 365 Activities and Azure DevOps. In this interactive session, Ables will explore the benefits and downsides of each, how they work together and the scenarios when each might make sense. Attendees will also learn how to use the often-overlooked SharePoint features to manage their projects.

Ables will also be presenting the session, “Creating a People-Centric Company with Office 365.” He will provide a visionary look into the future of work and a practical guide for getting there using Office 365. Ables shares what people-centric looks like, with case studies highlighting how big data, analytics, processes, collaboration and culture need to align. Transformation is possible, but technology alone is not the solution. Attendees will learn what differentiates companies that succeed with transforming customer and employee engagement, from those who never get past the struggle and how leaders are using Office 365 to accelerate towards this goal. They will leave inspired, informed and full of ideas that will drive change, and even transformation in their organizations.

Ables is the author of “The LUCK Principle: Business Results at the Intersection of People & Profit.” In the book he teaches how to harness the power of people, process and technology to transform a business into a digital workplace that balances a people-first culture with bottom-line results. The book is available in both paperback and Kindle versions on Amazon at https://www.Amazon.com/dp/B01N0QW5H4.
