The Cairo Ale House in West Chicago is at risk of losing its liquor license after running afoul of a city noise ordinance that was amended and expanded in June. The restaurant and music venue received a continuance at an Aug. 4 liquor commission meeting, but it cannot serve alcohol while hosting live entertainment in the interim.
