Officers responding to a burglar alarm early Tuesday morning at a West Loop restaurant discovered a shattered front door and a register from inside had been taken, Chicago police said.
About 4:20 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm at a restaurant in the 500 block of West Roosevelt Road and found a shattered front glass door. During a walk through of the premises it was determined that a cash register was missing, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
