Dear Amy: I stopped saying hello because I wanted him to get the hint: I’m not interested, so leave me alone. And yet, he keeps persisting; his behavior is getting weirder.

Dear Amy: My husband has a serious drinking problem which I have tolerated for decades. He has called me nasty and vulgar names, and now does nothing but watch TV and drink. When my father died last year, he didn’t offer an ounce of compassion – instead he made a cruel remark that still hurts so much.

Dear Amy: I don’t want my brother and his fiance to feel pressured to give me a special job, but I would like to be helpful.

Dear Amy: I just don’t know how to get this lady to leave me alone.

Dear Amy: My husband and I joke to him that we need some grandchildren soon (he is our only child) and we all laugh it off without any real responses.

Dear Amy: I recently completed genetic testing and learned that my brother and I are half-siblings.
