Dear Amy: Should we ask that they reconsider and pick another date?

Dear Amy: She told me that she has had feelings for me ever since high school. She said she knew she could never act on those feelings, but that she wanted to be honest about it and that’s why she told me.

Dear Amy: It just makes me feel sad. Why is it so difficult to make new friends as adults?

Dear Amy: We were at a party and she was drunk, but I was completely shocked and felt betrayed. This issue was one I shared with her with the understanding that I wanted to keep it completely private. Two people at this party are family members of mine and they were specifically the people I did not want to tell.

Dear Amy: I love my wife but really can’t take this disrespect any longer.

Dear Amy: Since she made my brother the executor of her estate, he was able to sell the bonds without my knowing until after Mom’s death. Subsequently, he advised me that there was no money for me (he cashed in the bonds and kept all of the money.)

Dear Amy: My husband and I live near his parents. They are very nice people, but they have a terrible habit of showing up at our house uninvited. Like they’re out doing errands and then they just stop in.

Dear Amy: I have a neighbor who was previously convicted of a sexual offense involving a “child.” He served time in jail.

Dear Amy: My mother was a difficult person. She was often not nice to my sister-in-law.

Dear Amy, I’m a 45-year-old woman, married to my wife for five years. My issue is my 21-year-old son, who lives with us. He’s a good kid but he’s now unemployed (for four months) and spends his days playing video games.
