Man discovered fatally wounding in vehicle Tuesday night in West Ridge
Officers responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle with an occupant inside Tuesday night discovered a man fatally wounded in the West Ridge neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly after 10:45 p.m., officers responding to a call reporting a suspicious vehicle in the 5600 block of North California Avenue found a bullet riddled car with an unresponsive man inside, Chicago police said. The man, described as about 40 years of age, had suffered a wound to his abdomen and abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.

Witnesses called police for help after seeing a coyote pup being abused and eventually killed by three people Saturday in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood. Saturday afternoon, officers responded to a call reporting a coyote pup being abused in the 10800 block of South Sacramento Avenue by three males, Chicago police said, Officers discovered a dead pup on private property and the coyote was removed.. No one was in custody for abusing and killing the coyote pup, but detectives were investigating.
