One person killed in fiery crash at I-90 Barrington Road Toll Plaza
One person was killed after a vehicle struck the Barrington Road Toll Plaza in Hoffman Estates early Thursday morning, state police said. The crash happened on Interstate 90 westbound at around 4:24 a.m. The car hit the toll plaza and became engulfed in flames, according to state police. The sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
