Naperville council nixes affordable housing incentives in favor of catalog for developers

The Naperville City Council voted 5-4 Tuesday night to reject an affordable housing incentives ordinance, which had been years in the making, by instead directing city staff to create an affordable housing catalog highlighting successful affordable housing projects in the city to be supplied to any developer looking to build residential units in town.

Chicago Fire Department reminds Thanksgiving cooks to remember one crucial ingredient: Safety

Using a pulley and standing a safe distance back, a Chicago firefighter dropped a frozen bird into a turkey fryer with too much hot oil, splashing the viscous liquid everywhere.
