Food vendor with CCL fatally shoots armed man on West Side, police say
A food vendor with a Concealed Carry License shot and killed an armed man in the Austin neighborhood Friday night, according to Chicago police. The food vendor, a 35-year-old man, was approached around 8:50 p.m. in the 300 block of South Central Avenue by an unknown man, who police estimate is 30 years old. There was a brief struggle between the two men, where the attacker pulled out a gun, police said.
