Fans of all things autumn can take their pick Sunday of fall events at Northbrook’s Autumnfest, taking place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Meadowhill Park. The day’s activities will include a pumpkin patch (one per child, please), toasted marshmallows by a bonfire, a horse-drawn trolley, a petting zoo, bouncy houses and DJ entertainment.
