No one was injured when gunfire shattered the back window of a CTA bus Thursday night on the South Side in the Washington Heights neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly before 9:45 p.m., a CTA employee was driving a bus in the 1100 block of West 95th Street when gunfire in the area shattered the back window. Police said there were six passengers on the bus who exited and continued to their destination. No one was injured but the bus driver was taken to an area hospital for observation. No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
