Proposal calls for public-private partnership to oversee future public art projects in Naperville

Naperville is charting a new path forward for how public art in town is created and maintained. Rather than relying on outside support to commission and manage public art in the city, which is what Naperville has done for more than two decades, the process will become the responsibility of a public-private partnership.

4 wounded in drive-by shooting overnight in Albany Park neighborhood

At least four men were wounded as they were walking overnight in a drive-by shooting in the Albany Park neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly before 2:30 a.m. Thursday, the victims were walking in the 4200 block of Knox Avenue when a dark colored sedan approached and someone inside opened fire.
