A woman was pronounced dead after she was struck by a vehicle when running into the street Monday night on the South Side in the Parkview neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly before 11:30 p.m., a 48-year-old man driving a white SUV was headed west in the 3800 block of West Columbus Avenue when he struck an unidentified woman who ran into the street, police said.
