Chicago area has been experiencing frigid conditions in recent days. But according to the National Weather Service, windchills dropped in 11 states. Warning of “life-threatening cold,” temperatures are expected to hover in the single digits into midweek, officials said.

In Tel Aviv, thousands of people gathered to watch the news on large screens erupted in cheers. Even before the ceasefire took effect, celebrations broke out across the territory and some Palestinians began returning to their homes. 90 Palestinian prisoners are also expected to be released on Sunday.
