Cavaliers vs. Bulls prediction: NBA odds, best bets for Wednesday

Both the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers face off at the United Center Wednesday night playing on no rest.

Cleveland is coming off its most exciting win of the season as Max Strus drilled a shot beyond halfcourt at the buzzer to stun the Mavericks, 121-119, on Tuesday.

However, the Cavaliers failed to cover as four-point favorites, marking their sixth consecutive loss against the spread.

Chicago hit only 2-of-29 attempts from 3-point range in a 105-95 home loss to Detroit on Tuesday. The Bulls failed to cover as 10-point favorites, but Billy Donovan’s team is 4-2 against the spread in the past six opportunities in the underdog role.

The Cavaliers have lost five of eight games this season with no rest, while losing in their last opportunity in this role at Philadelphia last week.

The Bulls haven’t excelled on the second leg of a back-to-back set by going 4-5, but Chicago has won four of its last five games after being held below 100 points in the previous contest.

Cleveland seeks a season sweep of Chicago after squeezing past the Bulls before the All-Star break, 108-105, as nine-point home favorites.

The Cavs have won the past seven meetings with the Bulls since the start of the 2022-23 season, while the under has hit in all three matchups this season.

It’s easy to think the Bulls will shoot better from downtown after an awful showing Tuesday night, but the Cavaliers can’t afford to give away games with the Bucks right behind them in the Western Conference.

Let’s lay the points with the Cavaliers on the road to keep up their domination of the struggling Bulls.

Pick: Cavaliers -5.5 (-110 at FanDuel)
